Welcome back to lesson 35 of our Intro to the Bible Mid-week bible study. This is the last lesson in this series. If you have been with us for all the lessons, we want to say thank you. If you joined us part way through, or missed some lessons, we will do a repeat mid-way through 2019. Next week we start a new bible study of 8 lessons called New Beginnings.Do you remember what happened in the garden of Eden with the first man and woman? We have followed their story through history. Now we get to see the judgment of the wicked, the new creation, and the redeemed in heaven.
Today’s message come from Revelations 20:11-22:7

We are standing before what is referred to as the big white throne. The heavens and the earth fled leaving no place for the dead who stood in front of it. There were two books opened, one being the book of life. (Vs. 20:11-12)
We all know that it is judgment time. This is what we have been taught. Remember those books mentioned above, that is how the dead were judged. First the sea gave up the dead, and they were thrown in the lake of fire. This was considered the second death. If you were not found in the book of life, you were thrown into the lake of fire. (Vs. 20:12-20)
Suddenly, you can see the new heaven and earth. The first heaven and earth were declared dead. The person on the throne states he is the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End with the spring of eternal life. Those that are thirsty will receive from the spring of water of life and if victorious will inherit the new heaven and earth where Jesus will live among them and we will all be his children. The others, cowards, the unbelieving, the vile, murderers, sexual immoral, and those that practice magic will be thrown to their death in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Vs. 21:1-8)
An angel appeared and said to John to follow up to the high mountain where he saw Jerusalem. From high above it shone with the Glory of God. The city had high walls with 12 gates and each gate had the name of 12 Tribes of Israel. The wall had 12 foundation with the names of the 12 apostles. (Vs.21:9-14)
There will be no day or night and no sins. Today we have day and night, we have sin and believers, but those of us today that believe are in the book of life. (Vs. 21:15-21)
The angel showed John the river of the water of life that ran down the middle of the street. On each side were the tree of life bearing 12 fruits. The leaves of the trees are for healing. John see the Lord and his servants. There will be no curse and they will reign forever. (Vs. 22:1-5)
As we end this message, the angel comes to give us a promise. Before they do however, they say that the Lord has sent them to let His servants know that certain things must be done. Those that keep the word of the bible will be blessed. (Vs. 22:6-7)
